We deden deze prachtige wandeling op 01-12-2022

De wandeling start op de gratis parking aan de Our. Ze is zeer goed bewegwijzerd met deze markeringen.

Visitluxembourg.com zegt het volgende over deze tocht; "Tijdens de beklimming en afdaling van deze tocht kunt u uw ogen en gedachten laten dwalen over het prachtige landschap. Soms ligt de Ourvallei aan je voeten, dan ontdek je in de verte het kasteel Falkenstein en in de afdaling presenteert Vianden zich met kasteel en rivier van zijn mooiste kant. Er is zelfs de mogelijkheid om met de stoeltjeslift naar het dal te gaan."

Vanwege de smalle paden langs de flanken van de Our vallei raden wij aan om even na te denken alvorens deze tocht te doen als er sneeuw ligt. Wandelstokken en stevig schoeisel zijn geen overbodige luxe!

We did this beautiful walk on 01-12-2022

The walk starts at the free parking lot on the Our. The walk is very well signposted with these markers.

Visitluxembourg.com says the following about this tour;

"Over castle and valley 

On the ascent and descent of this tour you can let your eyes and thoughts wander over the beautiful landscape. Sometimes the Our Valley is at your feet, then you discover Falkenstein Castle in the distance, and on the descent Vianden presents itself to you with its castle and river from its finest side. There is even the option of taking the chairlift down to the valley."

Due to the narrow paths along the flanks of the Our valley, we recommend that you think twice before doing this tour when there is snow. Walking sticks and sturdy footwear are a must!
