Rehabilitation centre Pulderbos has the task of taking care of children and young people with a serious neurological or respiratory problem. They are children who need intensive rehabilitation that cannot be given in an acute hospital.

In the Rehabilitation Centre, children and young people up to the age of 21 can go for temporary intensive rehabilitation. The Rehabilitation Centre consists of an epilepsy centre-neurological department and a respiratory department. In the epilepsy center-neurological department stay children and adolescents suffering from a disorder of the central or peripheral nervous system. These are often children with epilepsy or with rehabilitation problems that are the result of a (traffic) accident or illness. In the respiratory ward, children and adolescents are admitted with bronchopulmonary dysplasia, asthma, cystic fibrosis or other chronic respiratory diseases.

Children and young people can stay in the Rehabilitation Centre residentially (both day and night) or only during the day. In addition, there is the possibility for parents and care providers to call on the expertise center through interdisciplinary consultations!

The centre also has a school for pre-primary, primary and secondary education, where we work hard to create an educational programme that is as individual as possible for each child.
