Needle Church Tiegem

This work of art is located on the stepping stones that lead to the Doornstraat.

It contains the text:

"The little church that stuck its needle,

there high alone".

Translated: the kekrje sticking its needle up, only in the environment.

Stepping stones are omnipresent in this area. They are paved paths of 1 concrete slab wide, where it is easier to walk and cycle than on the earthen single track paths. Moreover, there is no problem with mud in bad weather. The disadvantage is that the paths can be in bad condition due to concrete slabs sticking up.
