Via the vallée des fées from Wilogne via Wibrin to Achouffe

This Route starts in Wilogne and afterwards includes a number of beautiful stops. But of course she can start in both Wibrin and Achouffe.
Because the route with 2 loops describes an 8 with Achouffe as meeting point, this route can also be done as 2 separate walks: the loop Achouffe-Wilogne of 11.5 km (stopover café du Chera) and the loop Achouffe-Wibrin of 10 km (stop Café Le Bastognard).

A first stop can be made in Achouffe (where the famous brewery is located), further in Wibrin, then again in Achouffe and finally in café du Chera at the entrance of Houffalize.

A sequence of local walks can be followed for signage:
From Wilogne, first red/white/red is followed until Moulin de Wilogne and further left along the stream. This is some climbing! Soon the walk with the blue/white indication joins the walk. We follow this until almost in Achouffe and then turn right to follow the Vallée de Fées. The blue cross also follows the path here. We continue to follow this blue cross until Wibrin.
Here we are going to do a local loop of 3 km. If you want to skip this one, keep following the blue cross. Almost at the river below in Wibrin it goes up to the right, indicated by the green cross. We follow this to the Croix de Valire where we follow the green cross back down to the left and back to the Cafe in Wibrin (at the back: beautiful view over the valley!). We first follow the green cross even further until you pass the church, where you turn right. Now we again follow the blue cross from earlier. We continue to follow this via Petite Mormont until back in Achouffe.
In Achouffe we turn left and pass the trout pond with brasserie La Grange (worth a visit!). Now it gets a bit tricky: shortly after the pond a small path goes up to the right - you follow the walk for a while indicated by the red square, which we leave after half a kilometer by climbing further to the left. From here there is no more signposts: at the top of the T-junction it goes to the left. a little further this becomes a paved path that ends up on the asphalt road to Mont. Here it goes to the right, into the field road, descending slightly and past a pond, after which a climb follows until a crossroads. Here it turns left and along the E25 to Le Cheras (Café).
After this last stop, turn left until the church in Mont. From here again follow red/white/red to the starting point.
