Half marathon between E19 and Leuvensevaart.

The start and finish point of this 21.1 km is located at the intersection of Dorpstraat and Damstraat, 200 meters south of the church in Weerde and Café Schoonzicht. It’s best to park at the church in Weerde; the start and finish are not far away.

The shortest pleasant running route to Leuvensevaart (only 6.82 km) goes through Elewijt (run in Weerde on Damstraat towards Elewijt LEFT of the road until the first street on the left after E19. In the left curve of this road, there is a slow path to the right. From here, you take a whole series of slow paths that are practically in extension to each other (see map enlargement with POIs). You will pass through a newly established road with new residences (Witloofstraat). Finally, you reach a last slow path that leads into a bend of Dynastiestraat, where you turn left and pass a sandstone column from 1727, 50 m further. Continue straight through the stone forest to Leuvensevaart.

You then run 2.2 km along Leuvensevaart (at Sas in Boortmeerbeek), after which you take the field path on the right at the boundary of the Boortmeerbeek municipality (that's after the high-voltage lines over the waterway, see photo) and go straight along the water farm Sint-Jozefhoeve, see photo.

At the end, turn left and continue on this path (do not run into the dead ends). Via Geilroedeweg, you reach the cemetery of Kampenhout. Cross Perksesteenweg over Molenveldweg and stay on the field path parallel to Haachtsesteenweg.

At the forest, turn right into Dreefstraat and leave the forest to the left. At the end, take the left past the nursing home Oud Brabant and reach Barebeek; follow this in the forest until the first bridge over the stream and turn left there. After a while, you come out of the forest, follow the forest edge on the right, where it turns into asphalt. Cross Boektsestraat and follow the cobblestone path. Then turn right towards Houtem. Before E19, turn right, then left (underneath E19). After the underpass, take the first right and go straight to Weerde.
At the Zennebrug, you have covered 21.1 km.
