Those exploring the glacier area of Glacier 3000 experience the unique nature up close and won't forget the impressive views for long. The marked glacier path is perfectly suited for this purpose. It leads from Scex Rouge to the Quille du Diable and is accessible year-round. The hike starts either directly at the Scex Rouge mountain station or takes the Ice Express chairlift to the glacier, from where you can start the hike in the snow.

Culinary delights

The destination of the glacier hike, reached after one hour: the Restaurant Refuge l'Espace at the glacier edge at Quille du Diable. Here you have a beautiful view down into Val Derborance and Wallis – and the numerous delicious dishes promise a culinary break at a high level. Those who have recharged their strength on the way back to Scex Rouge can run back to the glacier. Those who would rather relax and enjoy the beautiful view can simply take the Snow Bus from Glacier 3000.

You can then continue walking to the Cabane de Prarochet (+-1h)
