Jazzilücke - Antronapass

A challenging and difficult hike which starts at the Mattmark Stausee above Saas-Almagell. Follow the dam to the other side and follow the marked path into the Ofentall in the direction of the Jazzilücke. The path is well marked just before the Jazzilücke where you are confronted with snow fields and more difficult paths where you've got to have good orientation. Once on the Jazzilücke (3080m) mountain pass you cross the border with Italy and you'll see an abyss, a small path along the ridge takes you to the Antronapass (2838m), again the path is difficult but is secured on the most dangerous places. Once on the Antronapass we take the high alpine route to Heidbodme (2340m), the first part is pathless where you'll have to follow painted markings on rocks and many snow fields which makes it quiet challenging. Once your back on a clear path, you'll get some more small but steep climbs which makes it a very exciting route. Once arrived at Heidbodme you can relax on it's terrace, from there you can take the lift back to Saas-Almagell.
