St. Paul's Church

In 1965, the Protestant parish had grown to 4345 members. The St. John's Church, which had been used until then, became too small. The foundation stone for the new church was laid on July 24, 1964, and it was consecrated on the fourth Sunday of Advent in 1966. The plans were drawn up by the architect Ernst Dossmann. The simple reinforced concrete skeleton body creates a clear structure in the interior without mystifying effects. Only the altar area is highlighted by the artistically designed windows by special incidence of light. The altar side in the interior is made of green sandstone. Until 1994, only one steel bell hung in the single bell tower. It was replaced by five bronze bells. The tower was renovated in 1993.
