Krumhermsdorf

Krumhermsdorf is a district of Neustadt in Saxony in the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains.

Krumhermsdorf is located east of the Saxon state capital Dresden in the transitional area between the Lusatian Highlands and Saxon Switzerland. It is situated in the south of the city of Neustadt in Saxony and thus in the northeast of the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains. The forest village lies in a flat valley at the upper reaches of the Schwarzbach, which originates at the Ungerberg located east of Krumhermsdorf and drains into the Sebnitz. The village center of Krumhermsdorf is located in the center of the 503-hectare area; along its western edge lies the scattered settlement Neuhäuser along the street of the same name. Parts of the Krumhermsdorf area, particularly in the north and east, are wooded; the fields immediately around the village are mostly used for agricultural purposes.
