Circular trail around Lieberose – Lake Radduschsee Tour

Lake Radduschsee is set amid the landscape far removed from the noise of the road – perfect for peace and relaxation in nature, though there are many small highlights that make this circular trail fascinating.

This is a hike from the Mochlitz district of Jamlitz around Lake Radduschsee – one of the eight most beautiful circular trails around Lieberose. The lake is used for fishing: fed by small streams at the former Mochlitz mill, it is drained by the Lieberoser Mühlenfließ. The path on the western shore of the lake is particularly scenic. You can observe many waterfowl and sometimes cranes, too.
Part of the trail runs along the former light railway embankment from Jamlitz railway station to Lieberose. The light railway that once ran here via Straupitz to Lübben and Cottbus was closed in 1965 and the tracks were removed.
