Temple completed in the 18th century . Between the 17th and 19th centuries it was the church of the Monastery of the Espíritu Santo de los Clérigos Menores .
Today, the characteristic and slender bell tower , which is two stories high and located on the facade, is one of the most special architectural elements of the church and of the street in which it is located.
Inside, the church has a very deep presbytery, raised on steps, formed by three short sections covered by barrel vaults and ending in a flat chancel.
This choir has a neoclassical temple in the center, topped by a statue representing "Faith" made by Blas Molner. It contains the Virgen de la Paz, a polychrome statue of the Virgin and Child attributed to the famous 16th-century Castilian sculptor Jerónimo Hernández, who lived in Seville in the 16th century.
In 1904, the Brotherhood of Santa Cruz was founded in this church, which carries out its penitential procession on the evening of Holy Tuesday of Holy Week in Seville.
