Les Ateliers de l'Esperluette

There were four of them for the first edition in July 2013. Today, around ten artists share the space, presenting their joint research several times a year. The exhibition space is managed by the ActeQuatre collective, which is responsible for artistic content, communication and reception. The idea of a working theme that brings them together extends the initial one: the meeting of drawing and installation practices, when the two are not mixed... All productions are therefore created for the site and, during the time they take place, confirm this desire for complementarity, diversity and encounter. The theme is therefore an obligation to invade new territories, to shift practices, to take up the challenge. Presenting contemporary artistic expression in a rural town is obviously one of the first.
