🇫🇷 Paris - The streets of Montmartre

This tour of Paris takes you through the idyllic neighborhood of Montmartre.

The route starts at the Anvers metro station and winds its way through the charming rue de Steinkerque. Then you stand at the foot of Place Louise-Michel, on your way to the Montmartre carousel. From here, you have the best view of the Sacré-Coeur basilica. Climb the stairs through the park to the Parvis du Sacré-Coeur. You can also take the cable car. Turn around from here and admire the spectacular view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. You are now on the Butte de Montmartre. The tour takes you to the famous restaurant Lapin Agile, which overlooks the vineyards of Montmartre. Next, you reach Place Dalida, where a bust of the singer presides. The route goes over the square Suzanne Buisson to Place Marcel Aymé, where the statue of Le Passe-Muraille stands. Then you take the Rue Norvins where you find countless bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops. At Place du Tertre, artists display their work and sketch portraits and caricatures from life. From there, head back down the hill towards Square Jehan Rictus and more specifically the famous Mur des je t'aime à Abbesses. Then you go to Café des 2 Moulins (the famous café from the movie Amélie) and then to the famous Moulin Rouge. Right across is the metro station Blanche.
