Dolmen D7 at Schipborg
In a nature reserve just outside Schipborg lies the dolmen D7. If you arrive from Schipborg you can park your car on the edge of the area and take a nice walk through the heath. You will then pass old trees, sandy plains and burial mounds. If you walk through the area here by moonlight you will see that the mosses on these hills reflect the light which is a very beautiful sight.
If you walk a little further, the dolmen D7 is half hidden in the edge of the forest. This medium-sized copy is still quite complete and it is clearly visible where the gate has been. All four capstones are still present, but 1 large capstone is broken and partly lies in the burial vault. The dolmen is about 9 meters long and about 3 meters wide. The dolmen is quite low and there are a lot of mosses on it.
In combination with a walk in this area, it is highly recommended to visit this dolmen. You can also park the car quite right next to the dolmen, it is then a minute's walk.
