Vineyard "Herdade Barranco do Vale"

Algarvian estate in the municipality of Silves near Sao Bartolomeu de Messines of approximately 100ha, of which 10ha now consists of vineyard. The majority of the terrain consists of rolling hills, and is dotted with olive trees, pine trees, carob trees and arbutus trees.

Although the estate is not open to the public, the owners organize events throughout the year, and a visit to the estate or a wine tasting can be organized by appointment. It is also possible (by appointment) to buy wine on site or to help with the vintage.
