AMBT: Ayutthaya - Maha Rat Bicycle Track

This bike tour takes you from Ayutthaya to the Maha Rat Buddhist Park. The park features the world's largest statue of Luang Pu Thuat, a famous Siamese monk known for walking on the ocean and turning it into freshwater. The massive gold-painted statue can be seen even from the Asia Highway. The park has a large pond, plenty of space, and is shaded by many trees. It also includes a large market, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Wat Wachira Thammaram was initially built as part of the Maharat Buddha Park Project, covering more than 200 rai. The park was once along King Naresuan the Great's marching route. Independence Square 109 is a historic and cultural landmark honoring King Naresuan the Great and his loyal generals nearby.

The bicycle track is 60+ km long and not always paved. Biking takes about 4-5 hours.

A few highlights of this itinerary are listed mainly for easier navigation and reference, but they may also interest many cyclists as points of interest. Individual cyclists can choose where to stop based on their preferences and time constraints.
