Cette église en brique, construite entre 1950 et 1955, a été exécutée dans le style gothique moderne. L’architecte était Leopold Smeesters. L’église a une tour carrée, construite sur le côté droit du portail principal. Cette tour est couverte par un toit de tente. Au-dessus de ce portail se trouve un ornement, représentant Augustin et le texte: Pater est Deus, Filius est Deus, Spiritus Sanctus est Deus . Ceci est en réponse à l’œuvre d’Augustin: Le Trinitaire.
