Drive through the hills, Cassel, La Coupole, Cap Blanc Nez, Wissant to Marquise, set off in good time if you want to see something of La Coupole, avoid Kortrijk, but plan more time at Cap Blanc Nez. If you want to visit La Coupole, leave Ghent around 9 am, limit your stay in Kortrijk, and drive a bit further if possible, the road is really very beautiful in the hills, and then continue to Cassel, where you must have a drink at the highest point in Estaminet Kasteelhof; highly recommended. Then continue to La Coupole, an old V2 base and a museum that is definitely worth a visit. You can stay longer, but try to stay at most 1 hour, 1 hour and 30 minutes, so that there is definitely time later for a walk to the summit of Cap Blanc Nez. You can get drinks at Café Les Falaises, there is also a parking lot at the coast below the base of the ascent to the summit where you can park your vehicle, then in the late afternoon, early evening it is lovely to drive along the coast towards Wissant to then take a fast but beautiful route to our hotel in Marquise.
