Appointment at the parking lot of Provincial Green Domain De Kesselse Heide (V) in Kessel. Walk up the heath and walk straight in the direction of a house, without caring about side paths. On the right there is a beautiful sandy plain. Beyond this plain you step into the forest and at the crossroads with a GR path you follow the red and white signs and the green arrows of a local walk to the right. In the forest there is a small pond on the right. At the first intersection, keep following the green arrows straight ahead. Then you ignore a triangular square and a side path on the right and continue through the forest. You walk past a rest bench and at the next quadrangle you keep walking straight ahead. On the right a wire fence, on the left a beautiful piece of heathland. The path splits. Keep left and walk along the shore of a picturesque pond. Step a little further and at the Y-junction, where the green path goes straight, turn left and step through the heath to a five-way jump. Turn left with the wire closure on your right. Where the path bends left, you step straight ahead over a vibrating grid out of the domain. Via a narrow path you come to an asphalt road. Follow it to the left and after 200 m turn right until tavern De Beemden 1. Climb up the dike and follow it to the left. From De Beemden there are a number of beautiful ponds on the left. Continue walking until you reach the bridge of the Emblem-Kessel road. On the right is the center of Emblem, on the left café-tavern Het Badhuis 2, Maison des Bains from 1897, popularly called 't Sas. Leave the bridge on the right, cross the road and continue walking along the Kleine Nete. You now step along the Vloeibeemden. The Kleine Nete briefly touches the dike of the Netekanaal and then swings away from it. Further on, the Kleine Nete dives under the Nete canal via a culvert. Follow it to the left, towards the railway bridge. Take the first path on the left, past a row of pollard willows, a dog meadow and a white house. Turn right on the T. You turn to the left and end up in the bend of a concrete road. Follow the Kromme Ham on the left until you can turn right into the Kriekenstraat. Continue walking along a narrow concrete road until you can step left over the canal, next to a gate, onto a narrow path next to a meadow. Where the fence ends on the right, step through an opening and continue walking straight to the end. A street starts on the left, you turn right and wind with the path next to the meadow into the forest. The path splits immediately. Choose to the right and step straight ahead in the bend of another path. Follow the GR signs and the red squares. At the next quadrangle, a street starts right in front of you. Turn left and continue following the GR path to a stream. Turn left for a while and cross the stream via the Kromme Ham. Immediately turn right back into the forest and choose left at the fork. You continue to follow the GR signs and pass a beautiful piece of heath. At the junction after, turn left onto an asphalt road. Turn right and immediately choose the left road, the Beemdweg. Follow it to the end. Cross the EmblemKessel road and walk between a house and some garage boxes to a quadruple jump. Turn right and turn left in the street. Step past the last house on the right into the forest. You cross a stream and on the cross road, with a street on the right, you cross the bridge on the left. Now walk straight until you reach a street. Follow it to the end. On the left is brasserie 't Steentje 3. Cross the asphalt road and walk on a narrow path to the edge of the forest. Left. Then turn right into the forest and continue walking until you reach an asphalt road. Right. There is a gravel road from the left and just after that you step left over a vibrating grid into the Kesselse Heide. At the fork, keep right and continue walking to the road to the parking lot of the domain. Turn right until you reach the departure point.
