This sporty tour invites you to explore the capital city’s uphill and downhill roads! Brussels is a city at the junction between the great Flemish plain and the Brabant plateaus. As a result, some parts of the city, to the south, are at a higher altitude and offer unexpected views. This part of the territory is historically greener, more open and more middle-class. It boasts some old agricultural landscapes and is home to mills, old elegant residences and the great green lung of the region, which is partly classified as a world heritage site: the Sonian Forest! A walk in the fresh air reminiscent of the Ardennes, albeit in miniature.
