From Goyatz to the Spreewald

The state-approved resort of Goyatz has a port to the big wide world: via Lake Schwielochsee and the River Spree you can take a ship anywhere in the world – but Goyatz is the gateway to the Spreewald, too!
From here there are great bicycle tours into the Spreewald on quiet trails. The end point is in Straupitz. There are many highlights to explore. For example, the only Dutch windmill still in operation with three different production types is along this route. Then there are the two towers of the Schinkel church which are visible from a long distance, as well as a granary located nearby. Cyclists can now choose for themselves how they wish to explore the Hochspreewald.
