On this trail no. 62, come discover the landscape riches of Dommery. You will walk through fields, forests, and hamlets while overlooking the village. Walk in the footsteps of Clovis by traversing this hiking trail. At the starting sign, take the "Grand Rue" towards Launois-sur-Vence. Continue straight for 300m and, at the exit of the village, follow the path slightly to the left. Continue on this road for 1.3km until the intersection then turn right to follow along the woods. Then take the "Chemin de la haute-barre." This path is said to have been taken by Bishop Saint-Rémi to evangelize Clovis at Thin-le-Moutier. At the end of this path, continue straight to reach a junction then turn left towards the Fosse à l’eau. Continue straight until "La ferme le Breuil" then turn right to reach the paved road towards Bellevue. At Bellevue, turn left and continue on this path. At the "Source de la Vence" junction, take the grassy trail straight ahead. Cross the stream and continue towards "La ferme des Epiceries." At the intersection with the departmental road, continue straight while being vigilant when crossing this busy road. Continue for 70m then turn right (marker 15/22). Proceed on this path leading to the Garenne forest for 600m then climb into the woods, and at the top of the hill, turn right to pass along the ridge line. Enter the woods again and continue on the main path. Follow the "Crête des Verjutiers" until you reach a forest road. If you wish, the trail of the "Crête des Charrières" can be a continuation of this trail and will add an additional 3km to your hike. To do this, take the path below to the left. Otherwise, head back down towards Dommery to return to your starting point.
