During this bike tour, you will not only enjoy the beautiful line landscape of the Stelling of Amsterdam, the impressive fortifications, and their surprising stories, but you will also discover other hidden places. Stories about centuries-old boundaries and conflicts, about farmers and castles, about unfortunate loves.

With these stories, the beautiful line landscape comes to life again as you leisurely ride through the lovely polder landscape between Abcoude, Vinkeveen, and Uithoorn.

This route is part of V6, a project that aims to bring the line landscape of the Dutch Waterline and the Stelling of Amsterdam to life by promoting local citizen initiatives. V6 stands for storytelling – stories – connecting – earning – volunteers – (work) – resisting and aims to realize small projects in a new "bottom-up" manner, supported by a community of interested individuals.
