The mountain bike route "De 8 van Herzele" is a varied route for cyclists of all levels. The route consists of three loops:

1. Green loop: 15 km with 80 meters of elevation. This loop is ideal for beginners and offers a peaceful ride through the landscape.
2. Blue loop: 23 km with 120 meters of elevation. This loop is slightly more challenging and features a mix of paved roads and bike paths.
3. Red loop: 48 km with 340 meters of elevation. This is the most challenging loop, perfect for experienced mountain bikers looking for an intensive ride. The route is well signposted and connects to other routes in the area, such as Erpe-Mere, Zottegem, and Ninove.
