Today I set off towards Opdorp to visit a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. We had agreed to meet there with some friends.

The route surprised me because I wasn't familiar with the area. I was guided through beautiful landscapes and surroundings to Opdorp, aiming to encounter as little traffic as possible. With temperatures above 30°C, this was a great success! Since I was traveling alone with the classic car, I took the time to occasionally take pictures of the beautiful surroundings.

Upon arriving in Opdorp, I was even more amazed at how large the village square was. It felt like a park, surrounded by cozy terraces under the trees, ideal for a warm day like this.

After a short visit to Ziva's house, where we had gathered with the friends, we went to eat at De Poort van Cyriel. This cozy restaurant had a beautifully decorated outdoor terrace. The service was excellent, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the food delicious.

After a few hours, we moved to a terrace under the tall trees in the village center. In this weather, you need to stay well hydrated.

When evening fell, it was time to head home via a different route than the way there. This route did not disappoint either; the landscapes were beautiful. Due to the late hour and the predicted thunderstorms, we drove a bit faster than on the way there.

Luckily, I stayed dry and only encountered wet roads, without having seen a drop of rain. It was a successful day with the Vespa and good company!
