From the start at Sportpark Drogenbrood, the adventure beckons. Soon we dive into the beautiful Lippensgoed-Bulskampveld, a first teaser of what this gravel tour has to offer. Through the stately avenues and charming houses of Hertsberge, we head towards Wildenburg, where you can effortlessly join the course.

We let ourselves be guided along the beautifully renewed slow roads of Wingene and venture into nature, heading towards the expansive Vagevuurbossen. A playful extra loop adds some extra kilometers, after which we again traverse the Lippensgoed — double enjoyment, then.

After that, we seek the tranquility of the Vagevuurbos again and set our course towards Kruiskerke. An absolute gem awaits in the Hooggoedbos, where a beautiful passage leads us towards Sportpark Aalter-Centrum. Here too, you can perfectly connect to this unique gravel experience.

Through the idyllic Patersveld — better known as the Oude Vaart and a hotspot for carp fishermen — we continue to the Ghent-Bruges canal. We follow the babbling water to the cemetery of Sint-Joris, where a hidden treasure awaits us: a kilometer-long singletrack at the foot of the dike that makes every gravel rider smile.

At De Kijkuit, you are rewarded with a breathtaking view over the marina of Beernem. Enjoy a little longer, and then we set off via the bicycle bridge towards Kallomoeiedreef. From there, it’s just a final smooth connection back to where it all began: Sportpark Drogenbrood.
