Beautiful walking route through nature areas Mosselgoren and Neerhelst. Starting and ending at the site of the Mill of 't Veld and the Bakery Museum.

Mosselgoren is a true nature mosaic. You will find deciduous and alder floodplain forests, reed fields, moist meadows, and pools. The various streams are reminders of the past when Mosselgoren was part of a floodplain of the Kleine Nete. Various animals thrive here thanks to the rich variety of habitats. So it is also a nice area for walkers.

Note: Mosselgoren is an open area where many rare birds (little bittern, bluethroat, reed bunting, nightingale...) nest very close to the walking path. Even a leashed dog could cause a lot of disturbance here. Therefore, dogs are exceptionally not allowed in Mosselgoren. For dog lovers, we have set up a dog off-leash area at Teunenberg in Olen.
