Pena Flamenca La Perla de Cadiz - Andalusia

La Penya Flamenca La Perla de Cádiz has been a reference point for flamenco in Cádiz since it opened in 1979, a few years after the death of the owner of the Penya, Antonia Gilabert Vargas (Cádiz, 1924-1975).

During these decades, this association, which pays tribute to the gypsy singer, has been one of the most active in the production and organization of flamenco shows in the capital, Cádiz.

Among the many activities they organize are Flamenco Fridays throughout the year, the Alegrías de Cadiz dance competition, the Tanguillo competition... and many other activities.

This flamenco club has made famous the name of La Perla de Cádiz, which debuted in 1960 at the Tablao Zambra in Madrid . Since then he has worked on the most important flamenco stages in Madrid and Seville and won first prize at the Certamen de Cantes de Cadiz.
