Drinking trough Boca del Paso path - Adeje

This drinking trough is at the beginning/end of the Boca del Paso path.

This narrow path leads to La Quinta , where there used to be a sawmill . Pack animals were used to bring wood that had to be sawn for the sugar mill to the sawmill. The animals drank from this drinking trough.

Along the route you can see remains of the important agricultural activity that took place in this area: threshing floors, old grain terraces, stone and wooden drainage ditches, reservoirs and remains of old farm houses.

The route ends next to the Hermitage of Santa Margarita , which dates from the end of the 16th century and houses two important images: Santa Margarita de Antioquía and Santa Lucía. In addition, the large threshing floor and the old laundries are striking.
