Castillo de La Laguna

The castle was built in 1912 by the famous writer Domingo Cabrera Cruz, who did not hesitate to open its doors to other artists, making it a meeting place for the cultural movement of La Laguna.

It is located on the pleasant Camino Largo , surrounded by beautiful palm trees.

The first film directed by Canarian filmmakers, and one of the few, 'The Thief with White Gloves', was shot here.

For years this structure fell into oblivion and ruins, until in 2000 a Lagunero investor and his son restored this building to all its splendor and turned it once again into a space for meetings and leisure, where it is common to find exhibitions that are open to the public.

Today (2024) it is a chic wedding location with all the flair! However, you don't need an invitation, because everyone is welcome for a drink on their beautiful terrace , or even inside if you want.
