Charneux is a village in the Belgian province of Liège, belonging to the municipality of Herve. In the village, there is the St. Sébastien Church and a triangular square.
Until the abolition of the Duchy of Limburg, Charneux was part of the Limburg high court of Herve. Like the rest of the duchy, Charneux was incorporated into the newly formed Ourthe department during the annexation of the Southern Netherlands by the French Republic in 1795.
