The Skeelernetwerk Midwest stretches across the municipalities of Ardooie, Hooglede, Ingelmunster, Izegem, Ledegem, Lichtervelde, Meulebeke, Moorslede, Oostrozebeke, Pittem, Roeselare, Ruiselede, Staden, Tielt, Wielsbeke, and Wingene, with a total distance of about 450km. You can skate kilometers through a varied rural and urban landscape. In addition to the beautiful views, there are also nice rest areas. You will discover the strengths of the 16 municipalities in three tourist regions: the Leie region, the Bruges hinterland, and the Westhoek. Both recreational and advanced skaters will find their enjoyment here. Runners, walkers, cyclists, and others can also enjoy this unique network within the Midwest region!
