Borgloon, city of flowers and fruits in a hilly landscape of the Haspengouw region also called Northern Tuscany. The flowering period varies from late March to early May, with mid-April being the highlight. When can the crop be picked? This varies from mid-August to the end of September (those who missed the flowers can also admire the fruit). This walk shows not only the fruit sector, but also some interesting sights such as the transparent church, the Marieënlof Abbey/Monastery, beautiful panoramas of the area with several observation platforms, castles, works of art or a wine tasting in the "open vineyard" or relaxing at the Bar Vue ten velde.

We park in the parking lot of Borgloon Central Cemetery, Lambertusstraat 117, on other Borgloon car parks there are many, but be careful because some can not be used during school days, not to use due to market days, blue areas or too busy. We leave across the street towards the first dirt road and the first flowers.
