Quiet tour starting and ending in Herenthout in the Zuidkempen. It takes us through beautiful forests and still untouched natural areas into the Nordkempen. Afterwards, we head eastward through the various small Dutch enclaves of the municipality of Baarle-Nassau. In the center of Baarle-Hertog-Nassau, there is a lively atmosphere, a great contrast to the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. Here, a cozy atmosphere prevails on the many terraces, and it is a good opportunity to recharge during a break. The rest of the tour mainly follows low-traffic roads, along car-free old railway tracks and the waterfront paths of both the beautiful Turnhout-Dessel Canal and the Bocholt-Herentals Canal. This cycling tour does not have its own signage.
