RouteYou was also curious about our most popular hiking trail and that is why we have mapped out one of our favorite hikes for you. We have already made this beautiful trip several times, and are happy to share this trail, of about 25 km, with you. Since we both like to walk, but can certainly enjoy a snack and a drink on the way, the result has been this tough trip through our hills, interspersed with the ideal relaxation. The walk starts at Don Petrol, and leads you past our well-known Vlooyberg tower, through the idyllic Walenbos and Troostembergbos and then via the Gempemolen continue the road through our beloved Hagelandje towards Castle Van Horst. Through forest, field and hollow roads you reach the southern flanks of the Houwaartse Berg known for its vineyards. By descending back to lower areas you eventually come back to Don Petrol, which is also the end point. We wish you a lot of hiking fun!
