These two hiking trails take you on an exploration of the plains, the forests, and the beautiful villages with preserved rural architecture between Belgium and France. In the heart of the Pays des Mâchons, traditional buildings reflect the know-how of local masons. The hamlets of la Déroderie, de Clairmaie, and de Petit Rumes reveal some of these well-known builders. Along the road to France, bunkers emerge in the landscape, serving as witnesses to history.
