We made this walk on January 26, 2025

For navigation, it is best to bring a map or GPS. There are quite a few missing nodes.

The route itself is not very spectacular; it mostly runs through shady forests. So it's an ideal summer hike.

Nature itself provided quite a spectacle. It had rained for a while, and some rainwater had fallen during the night. The paths were quite wet. Let's call it water flooding. We constantly switched from one dry patch to another, over and along deep puddles, hopping. Here and there we also had something solid under our feet.

In the distance, we also heard shots from the shooting range in Hechtel-Eksel. We did not find it disturbing.

For us, it was a pleasure to experience nature in all its aspects.
