AzureThe trail winds along the former arm of the Scheldt and the river itself. He
make you discover a fauna and flora typical of a wetland,
but also the history of the marshes (where people harvested hay
and medicinal plants) and inland navigation. The Mermaid of
Léaucourt and his legend and also the "spirits" (immortalized by the
writer Odilon Delimal in the 19th century) give a distinct touch to this
walk.
