Keerbergen

Keerbergen is known for its residential villa areas nestled among the pine forests. You can quietly stroll along the cobblestone paths in the Zeept neighborhood and on the gravel path of the Nindsebaan. But Keerbergen has other advantages as well. Completely different and even quieter than the residential areas is the untouched nature and absolute tranquility of the beautiful Dijle Valley. In the Broekelei nature reserve, one explores an untouched, abandoned Dijle meander. Birdwatchers will find plenty to enjoy here. Along the way, there is a brief stop at the birthplace of Father Damian.
DEPARTURE POINT
The municipal park 't Kasteel can be reached from Brussels by taking the E19 at exit 12-Vilvoorde and following the N21 to Haacht. There, one must turn left twice to reach Keerbergen. The park is to the left, near the center. From Antwerp, take the E19 at exit 9-Mechelen Nord and follow the N15 towards Heist-op-den-Berg until signs direct you right to Bonheiden and continue on to Keerbergen. At the intersection in the center, follow the signs to Brussels-Leuven-Haacht to the right. 't Kasteel is located 400 m further on the right.

Parking available in front of and behind the associated restaurant.
TYPE OF ROAD
Predominantly gravel paths and asphalt.
ACCESSIBILITY
Possible for strollers on the shortened route. Impossible for wheelchairs.
