Adinkerke, as the station was formerly known, is the terminus of the train line 73 Gent – De Panne. From the station, the walk leads through Adinkerke, follows the French-Belgian border to the hamlet of La Distillerie, and then veers off into France to reach the fortified town of Bergues via Les Moëres, Warhem, and Hoymille, which is located on the Lille – Dunkirk train line. From Dunkirk station, the DK bus No. 2 (Monday to Saturday) or No. 3 (Sunday) departs hourly back to De Panne station.
