Jamblinne

The Famenne River, the Vachaux, springs from the vicinity of Serinchamps, at the border between the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg. It flows unerringly southwest and eventually empties into the Lesse at Villers-sur-Lesse. The beautiful places along its course are legion.

TYPE OF ROAD
About three-quarters of the described route runs along paved roads: asphalt and damaged asphalt.
In the Bestin domain forest, you simply follow paved and unpaved paths for a time, and along the forest, a overgrown cart path that can be terribly muddy in rainy weather, especially if it has also been dug up by wild boars. It is impossible to take a wheelchair or stroller. The route does not have many flat sections, but the changes in elevation are certainly not breathtakingly steep.
SIGNAGE
There are numerous signposts and trail markers along the route; the main signs are the blue and white horizontal rectangles and, in the Bestin domain forest, the green crosses. The route description refers to the markings whenever it makes sense.
PARKING
You have to park the car for a while in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful chapel of Jamblinne. Since the hamlet is never overcrowded with tourists, finding a parking spot should not be a problem.
