No problems on the route, still enjoyable with beautiful pieces of pure nature. Parking at the cemetery or at the church square, 100 meters before the cemetery. Be sure to take a look at the chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, a mini replica of the basilica of Lourdes (France) known for its double structure with an underground church and the upper part being the 'basilica' (after 400 meters on the route).

A varied landscape with significant height differences and a substantial piece of forest, discover the pristine nature of Lierde (between Zottegem and Geraardsbergen) and its surroundings. Parkbos-Uilenbroek is a recognized nature reserve in the Flemish Ardennes. This is the Blue Walk with a section of the approach route for walkers coming by train. Park and start at the cemetery of Lierde on Dorpstraat, cross the street and then take the dirt road to the right in front of the mailbox with number 52. It is not 100% the blue route as I have added two sections of unpaved road from the red loop (it's a pity they left that out at Natuurpunt). Halfway through the route, about after 6 km, there is a bench to take a break and enjoy the view, located on the street 'Nauw'.

There are three walks: Uilenbroekpad: 4.5 km, red walk starting at the picnic bench at Waesberg; Parkbospad: 4.5 km starting at the chapel in Waesbergdries; and the blue walk of 9 km which can be started from both starting points.
