Hoogstraten, as is widely known, is the mecca of strawberry cultivation in the province of Antwerp. The strawberries from Hoogstraten are considered the finest and tastiest in our country. This Strawberry Route, a bike ride of 41 km, pays tribute to this 'queen of fruits'. It is marked with hexagonal signs and guides you through this agricultural and horticultural region. Along the way, you will discover both the main monuments of Hoogstraten and beautiful natural areas and idyllic spots, with the river Mark being particularly charming.
