Neiße-Malxetal is an administrative municipality in the Spree-Neiße district in Brandenburg. It is managed by the Döbern-Land office, which is located in the town of Döbern.
The municipality is situated in the southeastern part of the state of Brandenburg in Lower Lusatia, at the border with Poland, in the historical settlement area of the Sorbs/Wends. It lies directly on the Polish border between Forst to the north and Bad Muskau to the south. The nearest major city, Cottbus, is approximately 20 to 30 km northwest.
