The Wittelsbacher fountain is a monumental fountain of neoclassical style located in the Lenbachplatz transit to Maximiliansplatz in the center of Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It was created between 1893 and 1895, according to a design by sculptor Adolf von Hildebrand, who also had the help of sculptor Erwin Kurz. Being Subject is an Allegory to the elemental forces of the Water Element. With its calm and crystalline waters of Design, and also from the urban point of view, the Source will be considered as an accomplished artistic Installations of the Bavarian Capital.
