Passage grave near Kampen

The passage grave near Kampen is a Neolithic megalithic grave in the municipality of Kampen in the district of Nordfriesland in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. In the "Atlas of the Megalithic Graves of Germany" by Ernst Sprockhoff, the passage tomb is referred to as Sprockhoff No. "1". The megalithic site of the funnel beaker culture was created between 3500 and 2800 BC and was scientifically investigated by R. Knorr in 1915. The passage tomb is a type of Neolithic megalithic construction, which consists of a chamber and a structurally separate, lateral passage. This form is primarily found in Denmark, Germany and Scandinavia, as well as occasionally in France and the Netherlands.
