Waltersdorfer Dorfbach

The Waltersdorfer Dorfbach, formerly known as Pfarrfluß, is a right tributary of the Lausur River with a length of about 6 km in the municipality of Großschönau in the district of Görlitz in East Saxony.
The stream has its source north of the Waltersdorf Pass in the gap between Lausche and Sonneberg in the village of Sonneberg in the Zittau Mountains. Then the stream flows northwards through Neuwaltersdorf. Between the Butterberg and the Ottoberg, the Sängerhöhe and the Kirschhübel, it forms a deep valley in which Oberwaltersdorf is located. The village stream then flows through Altwaltersdorf and reaches the Großschönau basin and the hill area. Its lower course crosses the Neuschönauer Busch to Neuschönau. The Waltersdorfer Dorfbach flows into the Lausur at Neuschönau, opposite the Neuschönauer Brettmühle, at the foot of the Finkenhübel.
