A circular trail with a fantastic view of the Saaletal and the cathedral city of Naumburg.

Description

At the beginning of the hike stands the "mysteriously surrounded" solar observatory. It is recommended to take a guided tour, which can be booked at the information center of Goseck Castle.
Through a light deciduous forest, you reach the Kaiserblick viewpoint. The view over the valley with the winding, sparkling Saale river, the lush meadows, the picturesque villages, and Naumburg in the background is imperial.
A path lined with lilacs leads to a bear cave, a wonderfully enchanted spot invites you to take a break.
At Goseck Castle, with its picturesque courtyard and the ginkgo tree, you should not miss a stop at the castle tavern.
As part of the circular trail, the path to Igelsberg opens up another magnificent view of the Saaletal.
