Pozuelo del Rey

The municipality belongs to the Alcarria de Alcalá, among the municipalities of Campo Real, Nuevo Baztán, Torres de la Alameda, Valverde de Alcalá, Villar del Olmo, Valdilecha, and Loeches.

To the southwest of Pozuelo del Rey, the Val de Loeches stream originates, a tributary of the Pantueña, which runs north of the municipal area. The municipality has a wastewater treatment plant EDAR 107[1]​ for sewage.
In 1908, a beautiful public fountain equipped with a trough with drinking spouts was built at the main crossroads of the municipality, which is now unused.
There are also a few wells with drinking and/or irrigation water, and the structural remains of the "Pozo de las nieves" can still be observed, where frozen water and snow from winter were stored under straw for the warmer seasons.
