La Vallée is a municipality in the southwest of France, located in the department of Charente-Maritime.
The municipality of La Vallée is situated in the center of the Charente-Maritime department, in the former province of Saintonge. Belonging to the south of France — more specifically referred to as "midi atlantic", in the heart of the Atlantic arc, it is an integral part of the Greater Southwest of France, and is sometimes also included in a broader Greater West with more indistinct borders.
